Most genres welcome: Contemporary, including: adventure, military, suspense, crime, detective, etc. Historical, including: Western, Regency, Medieval, etc. Sci-Fi/Fantasy, including: futuristic, space, aliens, superhero, folklore, fairy tale, myths, dragons, etc.

*Stories must not contain profanity, vulgarity, or adult only content; we do not publish erotica or anything Satanic in nature.

*Stories must be written in English, original and unpublished.

*When submitting, Author agrees to give Little CAB Press non-exclusive rights to publish the story on the Little CAB Press blog for as long as we maintain the blog.

Short Story Anthologies 2018 Book Projects

Adventures in Fiction Vol II
Most genres welcome
Contemporary, including: adventure, military, suspense, crime, detective, etc.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy, including: futuristic, space, aliens, superhero, folklore, fairy tale, myths, dragons, etc.
Looking for 12 short fiction stories up to 5,000 words each
Stories due: May 25, 2018; for publication in Fall 2018

Wise Men Still Seek Him/Christmas/Holiday Project
This project will include inspirational messages, inspirational fiction, and non-fiction accounts of wondrous, miraculous or even just comical holiday experiences to include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Easter themes. Stories may be about a renewal of faith through finding and giving forgiveness, triumph over adversity, hardship and/or addiction. Anything having to do with the promotion of faith, love, and charity will be reviewed.
Looking for 12 stories: fiction should no more than 5,000 words & non-fiction should be at least 1,000.
Stories due: June 25, 2018; for publication in Fall 2018

Author Bio: Who are you? What have you published before/What writing groups do you belong to? Why do you write? These are examples of what could be in an author bio. Your author bio can say anything you want it to say. Try to keep it to 1-2 paragraphs if possible.
Story blurb: A short story blurb should be short—peaking the reader’s curiosity—without giving away the ending. Leave them wanting to know, “what’s gonna happen?” When appropriate, use high emotion words such as, “gripping” “heart-wrenching” “thriller”!
Social media links: blog, facebook, twitter, etc
Once a story is accepted, Author will be contracted to give Little CAB Press exclusive rights to publish the story for 5 years from the date of publication.
When submitting:
Use Microsoft word or send the text in the body of an email. We can’t do anything with PDF files.Use normal margins and spacing, only one space between sentences is necessary, avoid using two.
